Ahuramazdan: Explore

Ahuramazdans lived deep in Africa from as long as 75000 years ago. Stone circles have been discovered in Mpumalanga in what is now South Africa. Traditional archaeology has had to completely revised. The history of the world will be even more interesting in time.

As far as the Iranian Plateau is concerned, the study of Haplogroups in the Genome Project has correlated quite well with much of what is written in the Vendidad. The journey of Ahuramazdans began in the East Africa. The heat drove our fore fathers North. They eventually arrived in the Iranian Plateau.

Later many Ahuramazdans moved to Europe and built stone circles there. Some of the oldest clocks are found in the British Isles like Stonehenge. Ahurmazdans' time worship spread all over Europe.

There are sections in the Vendidad, that describe Ahuramazda speaking to the ancient Emperor of Iranians called Yima or James or Jamshid as in Takhte Jamshid, telling him to prepare for a long journey South, away of what would be an Ice Age. Isn't it strange how we all watch the film. It has a sub-conscious intuitive link in all of us.

"On the approach of a dire winter, which is to destroy every living creature, Yima, being advised by Ahura, builds a Vara to keep there the finest representatives of every kind of animals and plants, and they live there a life of perfect happiness."

http://www.avesta.org/vendidad/vd2sbe.htm

In fact if you are into the connection of all humans to the extra-terrestrial, you need to read Immanuel Velikofsky, where he explores deep into the human psyche. Ahuramazdans were part of inter-galactic wars. What we call Atlantis disappeared and giants came to the Iranian Plateau. Hercules and Goliath are even remembered nowadays in childrens' stories.

All of this is part and parcel of what modern Astrologers or Ahuramazdans call Sagittarius or Azar. The word "Saghi" relates to the word "Sage". The symbol for the constellation comes from "Arash" or "The Archer". As the mythology goes his ability to draw the bow produced the boundary of Iran in the Tir Solstice (Cancer Solstice) when Jupiter was exhalted in Cancer or Tir.

This quest to find meaning with Fire later made Ahuramazdans make the oldest observatory in the world. It is called the Fire Temple of Azar Goshtasp way before the Jews called it The Throne of Solomon. The temple of Anahita is in it and much of present day Judaism and proto-Zoroastrianism is kept there.

Even todays the Mobeds carry out traditions that are purely astrological, but they do not know it. The 12 parts are the twelve constellations and the four parts are the four astrological elements.

"Gahanbar ceremony in Azargoshasb Fire Temple – Zoroastrians recited Avesta together with the Mobeds and retied their kustis.  Kusti (koshti) is a girdle (waistband) made from sheep wool, woven from 72 strings of woolen thread, representing the 72 chapters of Gathas, the holy hymns of Zarathushtra.  These 72 strings, divided into 12 equal parts, meaning 12 months of the year, and each of these 12 strings divided into 6 parts, meaning the 6 chahreh of Gahanbars, are woven together ending with 4 knots, which represents the 4 elements of nature:  water, air, earth and fire.  Zoroastrians tie the kusti on their waist, and by retying it each time, remind themselves of their duty to spread, righteousness, goodness, purity, peace and honesty and their duty to fight with wrong, evil, impurity, war and by-ways."

http://amordaden.blogfa.com/post-625.aspx

Lighting the candle and the reverence for the flame, is a symbol of the light that shines in the darkest moment. And so it is that the longest night is at the end of Azar. All Iranian stay up all that night to defeat darkness, but more importantly to celebrate the first longer day called Yalda. That later became Christmas.

As you can see much of what we now see in present day Zoroastrianism is Astrological and was originally what Ahuramazdans believed in way before Zoroaster was born.

Ahuramazdan: Reborn

For thousands of years, well before Zoroaster and the Zend-Avesta, Ahuramazdans handed down great secrets, passionately from one generation to another in the oral tradition.

Ahuramazdans were conquered. But the stories remained. The Ahuramazdans connected to ancient spirits. The history of the people who lived in the Iranian Plateau, was continuously reborn.

In 4th Century BC, the library of Persepolis was burnt down by Thais. One thousand years later, the library of Cteiphun was burnt by Salman Parsi. Iran fell to ruins after both occasions. The history of Iran has been written by its enemies, yet it remains.

These deep emotions and everlasting feelings, are Astrologically governed by Aban, Scorpio and the 8th House. Most people know of Seemorgh or the Iranian Phoenix, because it is mentioned in Shahnameh. Shahnameh was a copy of Khodayeh Namak. Most Zoroastrians do not know the Astrology.

Some of the oral traditions of Ahuramazdans were eventually written in the Zend-Avesta. It's language is distinct. It remained no matter what the prevailing language was in the Iranian Plateau. The Magi preserved much of it from pre-Zoroastrian times.

One section, Aban Yasht, contains the oldest parts of the most ancient history of Ahuramazdans. It is here you see biased translators refer to these oldest parts as a "Cult".

It reminds me of the way the Christians and Jews and Moslems, referred to old philosophies as Pagans. All of them had one thing in common. They did not like the Astrological connotations. Much of Zend-Avesta now has been surgically cleaned by translators, who looked for monotheistic religious concepts.

Only when you know the Astrology, can you hear the Ahuramazdans in your heart across space and time. Do not expect a Mobed in Iran to understand any of this. I know. I have asked them. That is why I am writing this.

Just read the interpretation of Aban Yasht written below:

http://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/aban-yast

The first person to translate Zend-Avesta James Daremesteter was not so judgemental:

http://www.avesta.org/ka/yt5sbe.htm

I have reprinted the parts in the beginning that show the relationship to the Astrology:

1. Ahura Mazda spake unto Spitama Zarathushtra, saying: 'Offer up a sacrifice, O Spitama Zarathushtra! unto this spring of mine, Ardvi Sura Anahita, the wide-expanding and health-giving, who hates the Daevas and obeys the laws of Ahura, who is worthy of sacrifice in the material world, worthy of prayer in the material world; the life-increasing and holy, the herd-increasing and holy, the fold-increasing and holy, the wealth-increasing and holy, the country-increasing and holy;
2. 'Who makes the seed of all males pure, who makes the womb of all females pure for bringing forth, who makes all females bring forth in safety, who puts milk into the breasts of all females in the right measure and the right quality;
3. 'The large river, known afar, that is as large as the whole of the waters that run along the earth; that runs powerfully from the height Hukairya down to the sea Vouru-Kasha.
4. 'All the shores of the sea Vouru-Kasha are boiling over, all the middle of it is boiling over, when she runs down there, when she streams down there, she, Ardvi Sura Anahita, who has a thousand cells and a thousand channels: the extent of each of those cells, of each of those channels is as much as a man can ride in forty days, riding on a good horse.
5. 'From this river of mine alone flow all the waters that spread all over the seven Karshvares; this river of mine alone goes on bringing waters, both in summer and in winter. This river of mine purifies the seed in males, the womb in females the milk in females' breasts.
6. 'I, Ahura Mazda, brought it down with mighty vigor, for the increase of the house, of the borough of the town, of the country, to keep them, to maintain them, to look over them, to keep and maintain them close.

Anahita's Temple, the Goddess of the waters, is one of the oldest archaeological sites of Iran. It is in The Throne of Solomon. It is older than much of what we call Zoroastrianism. Aban or the Sun sign Scorpio is a fixed water sign in Astrology.

The collective in modern Astrology is symbolized by Aquarius or Bahman and Uranus. Uranus is exhalted in Aban. In present day only when humans cooperate can a new spirit be created. This new corporation is what drives teams of people to make companies and do business or make political manifestos in what we call democracy. This is our social contract to create and recreate our social order. The ruler of Aban, Pluto is exhalted in Amordad or Leo.

In an after thought it is best to include:

132. 'Through the strength of this sacrifice, of this invocation, O Ardvi Sura Anahita! come down from those stars, towards the earth made by Ahura, towards the sacrificing priest, towards the full boiling [milk]; come to help him who is offering up libations giving gifts, sacrificing, and entreating that thou wouldst grant him thy favors; that all those gallant warriors may be strong, like king Vishtaspa.
'For her brightness and glory, I will offer her a sacrifice....
133. 'Yatha ahu vairya: The will of the Lord is the law of holiness....
'I bless the sacrifice and prayer, and the strength and vigor of the holy water-spring Anahita.
'Ashem Vohu: Holiness is the best of all good....
'[Give] unto that man brightness and glory, .... give him the bright, all-happy, blissful abode of the holy Ones!'

It is the last section of Aban Yasht where we read about the concepts of extra-terrestrial beings. Here the concepts of space and time travel are covered. Here the unique world of Ahuramazdans is mentioned as they were made by Ahuramazda which is distinct from other universal forces.

Throughout the Aban Yasht you read about the regeneration and cleansing of life that the Ahuramazdans handed down to us. It expresses the vastness of the force as waters. It shows how every tiny element is considered. The atom is spoken of. It speaks of the creation of important people in the Iranian history. That is why it has remained. It evokes the ancient spirit. It reaches back to the dawn of man.

Ahuramazdan: Pax Iranica

New life begins in Farvardin or Spring with the singularity. After the six months it is made into a reality by the Good Deed of Shahrivar or Virgo.

On the seventh month, the identity has to learn to share with other identities, in order to increase or become more.

"1+1= 2"

The words "More", "Mehr", "Mir" or the Latin "Mithra" all mean to add with a contract.

The singular becomes more. But the operation or the operator is what makes it more.

The same concept attracts two single people to Love.

The two will be balanced and as such Libra is created in Latin.

We become a social being as we respect the law that binds us all.

The Ahuramazdans pronounced the Mehr Yasht in the Zend-Avesta orally from 20,000 years ago when they entered the Iranian Plateau from Africa:

"Like all texts of the Avesta, the Mihr Yašt belongs to an oral culture of ritual poetry whose roots reach back to the prehistoric Indo-Iranian civilization. The god praised in this hymn—miθra-, whose Vedic cognate is mitrá-—is inherited from the Proto-Indo-Iranian culture, in which Mitra emerged as a deity embodying the notion of ‛contract.’ "

This is one of the oldest oral and written documents we share with the people of India.

"Although in the Rigveda only one hymn (RV 3.59) is dedicated to him alone, he frequently appears coupled with other gods, and especially the deity Varuṇa, with whom his name forms the dvandva compound mitráváruṇā “Mitra and Varuṇa,” a pair of gods praised in several hymns. The Avestan equivalents of the compound are the dvandvas miθra.ahura (Yt. 10.113, 145) and ahura.miθra (Y. 1.11, 2.11), with ahura replacing váruṇa- in the Vedic compound. The earliest attestation of the names Mitra and Varuṇa is an oath formula in a 14th century BCE treaty between the Hittite and Mitanni kings (Kuzmina, 2007, p. 133)."

http://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/mihr-yasht

The Ahuramazdans that wrote Mehr Yashts, did not allow it to be written for thousands of years, in case the purity and soul of the words would not be felt. It was pronounced and handed down "seeneh be seeneh" (chest to chest). All Ahuramazdans sang it and as such knew it.

Some of the very basic Ahuramazdan concepts of law and order, that formed the foundation of modern society, were derived from Mithraism, that eventually became Christianity itself.

The planet that rules Mehr and the 7th House is Venus. It's job is to unite. It's exhalted in its ability to reconcile everthing. It teaches us to be humble to Ahuramazda. This concept is the oldest in our Indo-European heritage and it is found in the Holy Rigveda of India.

Cultural unity based on humility and law was cultivated and affirmed by Ahuramazdan Cyrus the Great, as written in Cyropaedia of Xenophon. Later he produced the Declaration of Human Rights:

"I took up my lordly abode in the royal palace amidst rejoicing and happiness. Marduk, the great lord, /established as his fate or me a magnanimous heart of one who loves Babylon, and I daily attended to his worship."

"My vast army marched into Babylon in peace; I did not permit anyone to frighten the people of [Sumer] /and\ Akkad"

"I relieved their weariness and freed them from their service."

http://www.livius.org/ct-cz/cyrus_I/cyrus_cylinder2.html

The peace and love of Ahuramazdan Cyrus the Great was preserved in the Old Testament.

"Cyrus is mentioned some twenty-three times in the literature of the Old Testament. Isaiah refers to Cyrus as Jehovah’s “shepherd,” the Lord’s “anointed,” who was providentially appointed to facilitate the divine plan. God would lead this monarch to “subdue nations” and “open doors” (an allusion to the Jews’ release from Babylonian captivity). He would make “rough places smooth,” i.e., accommodate the Hebrews’ return to their Palestinean homeland. He would ultimately be responsible for the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the reconstruction of the temple."

Ahuramazdan: Work

In Persian we refer to it as "the running of Shahr". In English, the word "Shire", and in Persian the word Shahr, are very old words, yet very similar, that have quietly remained.

Ahuramazdans knew what it meant to carry out work, clean and efficiently. They followed the creed that "Heaven was on Earth". The dictum Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds, was probably written by a person born as a Virgo or Shahrivar. Civilization is definitely very Virgo.

Whatever was thought of, had to have practical implications. As such they were scientific in their outlook. Every aspect of their life was looked at in great detail. The smaller elements were scrutinized and examined in more detail. The result was labelled and classified. Observation and record keeping were their tools. Try spoiling the Earth, Water, Air or Fire and you would get told off.

In Astrology Shahrivar is ruled by Asteroids and that act like a mesh and the dark side of Mercury. The interstellar debris that is being drawn to Jupiter, can only reach Earth, after it had made through the Asteroid belt. Mercury is practical and is exahlted in Bahman. The shy side of Mercury later became the pure Virgin and the name of the sign in western Astrology.

Shahrivar energy is modest yet descerning. It's ability to separate and catagorise, gets it involved with scientific work for the benefit and nourishment of mankind efficiently. Ahuramazdans knew that only when their thoughts have been shared within humanity in a practical manner do they matter. This approach in not idealistic at all. It needs detailed real evidence that can be recreated all the time. There are no illusions. The Sharivar Asteroids carried out duties without question.

The name Avesta comes from Vesta the Asteroid nourishing the Fire. Ceres was the protector of nourishment and nurturing. Juno would carry out the legal duties. Finally Pallas Athena would be the builder. These were doers and did not have the cardinal qualities of planets. As such Shahrivar run the town and its services. They noted what is paid for and administrated. They were the civil servants and worked for government. Everything was carefully noted in detail. This has remained for thousands of years in our ancient writing since 3000 BC.

Ahuramazdan: Heart

In Persian we say Amordad, or undying. It represents that part of our life that gives birth. It is at the centre of power. It is the King or the Queen. All the light of the world begins there. It is the Sun.

Ahuramazdans actually referred to it in the Zend-Avesta exactly as we do now, Amordad. The English translation of it is Ameretat.

There are three kinds of fire. There is the fire that makes us unique and gives us our identity called Farvardin or Aries.

Then there is the fire that wants us to express, shine, and have the confidence that drives us to take risks. It gives birth. It is called Amordad or Leo.

The third kind of fire is the fire of belief, that shines in the dark like a candle of hope and faith. It is called Azar or Sagittarius. It helps us explore and travel

As you can see, western Astrology just took the cosmological names and applied it to the astrology.

The Ahuramazdans used the meaning behind each sign to create the name to begin with. To consistently and adamantly shine, requires the power of the Sun.

It is the ability to express forever from your heart, is where the true meaning of Amordad comes from. It is not just the Sun or the Lion. It is the ultimate source of all life on Earth.

As such the Ahuramazdans referred to it as the eternal flame, as symbolized in the Olympic Flame. It is alive in real-time, just like now, as I write and amend and rewrite.

In Astrology we know that each sign has a planetary ruler. We also know that certain planets are exahlted in certain signs.

Pluto is exhalted in Leo. Pluto rules Scorpio. It is the Seemorgh that rises from the ashes. It does so by combining or sharing.

It is the physical reunion of two identities that is expressed and creates new life. The  regeneration force of Aban or Scorpio is at work when Pluto is in Leo.

Literally the body is reborn in the Sun. The old energy is recreated in the Sun. The Sun needs the ability of Aban to attract physical entities, and drive it to recreate.

In everyday normal life, two humans will be attracted to each other (Aban) and then procreate (Amordad).

In modern finance, speculators will borrow funds (Scorpio) and take risks (Leo).

Ultimately the new life will be the game of chance.

Ahuramazdan: Heritage

"When Minochihr and Afrasyab determined to make peace and to fix the boundary between Iran and Turan, 'it was stipulated that Arish should ascend Mount Damavand, and from thence discharge an arrow towards the east; and that the place in which the arrow fell should form the boundary between the two kingdoms."

http://www.avesta.org/tiragan.htm

For a long time, many scholars cannot understand why the word Tir that means arrow should be used as a name of the first month of the Summer.

Ironically they point to the Star Sirius. But because they have no knowledge of Astrology, they get it wrong.

They elaborate further but it is not quite right:

Tiragan is also associated with the legend of the arrow ('tir'), which is briefly alluded to in the Teshtar Yasht (Yt8.6):

"We honor the bright, khwarrah-endowed star Tishtrya who flies as swiftly to the Vouru-kasha sea as the supernatural arrow which the archer Erexsha, the best archer of the Iranians, shot from Mount Airyo-xshutha to Mount Xwanwant. (7) For Ahura Mazda gave him assistance; so did the waters ..."
http://www.avesta.org/ka/yt8sbe.htm

The Ahuramazdans were quite subtle and very precise in using the word Tir meaning arrow. They had to tie the meanings associated with land, home, heritage, to a very powerful time in the Astrological calendar.

All Astrologers and those born in Azar or Sagittarius know about the Archer. The word archer itself is derived from Arash Kamangir.

In Astrology we have various planets that rule each of the twelve months. For example the Moon rules Cancer or Tir. Saturn rules Capricorn. Sun rules Leo. Each of these planets will be very powerful in certain signs. For example the Sun is exhalted in Aries or Farvardin.

Now this is where the connection to the word Tir comes from. The month or the sign Azar is ruled by Jupiter. But Jupiter or the Centaur is exhalted in Cancer or Tir.

The most important time to settle the border dispute between Iran and Turan, was when Jupiter or the Centaur was in Tir. Iranians knew that Arash Kamangir would stand the best chance at that time. Both nations agreed that the larger celestial forces would settle matters related to heritage better. So wherever the arrow or tir would fall would be approved by the Universe.

And so it was on the Summer Solstice when Jupiter was exhalted in Tir conjunct with the Sun that Iran's borders were established. Or if you are into Chinese astrology it is when there is the year of the horse. Again the similarity to Centaur is there. This phenomenon happens once every twelve years. The last one was in 2014. The Ahuramazdans knews when the best time is for Iran to preserve its heritage. That is why it has lasted so long.

The real significance of Jupiter in Cancer is best described as the ability to rise above petty details and look at the larger emotional perspective to life. It emphasises the role of the land and the mother. All sensible nurturing qualities of our culture are expanded. The moral and philosophical values are put into real emotional and historical situations. Meaning in family and national matters become paramount. Powerful intuitive feelings are created to give the all important sense of belonging. In extreme cases xenophobia can develop. In short the motherland is at the heart of Tirgan.

Ahuramazdan: Curiosity

"Manam yeki az ina doreh gardanam daram"

(I have got one of these around my neck)

"Midooni in chi hast?"

(Do you know what it is?) I ask

"Areh digheh, hamoon .. chieh .. ahan .. Ahura Mazda ast"

(Of course I do, it's that, you know, wotz it, um yeah Ahura Mazda)

Even though, this young chap, was definitely "confused.com", he finally got there. The new generation of anti-Islam love it, but really do not know much more.

Then you go to a learned, proper, good old fashioned Parsi, or a Zoroastrian, and you ask the same question. You get a religious epitaph. It is seen as a symbol of a long lost era. It is their "Holy Cross" or "Allah" or "David's Cross".

But both of the new and traditional Zoroastrians are wrong.

The Ahuramazdans, wanted to reach out across time, with a universal message. It was and perhaps is, the oldest logo.

The message, had to show the position of the curious mind. Information is arriving from all directions. You have to simultaneously deal with contrary informations. There is no absolute right and wrong. You choose.

The person is in the middle, with information from the left and right, as well as from above and below. He or she have free will.

At this point I get interrupted:

"Kojash az bala ast, Ali. Chakhan nakon"

(Where is it from above, stop the BS, Ali)

The Ahuramazdans knew, that developing the best curiosity, will enable them to rise like a bird and go above. A human-being is elevated in consciousness, with curiosity. So "above" is a state of mind.

"Pas hich chizi mohem naneh veshte shodeh"

(Nothing important is written anywhere)

The Ahuramazdans realised that diversity cannot live with divisiveness. Any kind of idealism, or any form of morality, would surely blunt curiosity.

Astrologically this is shown by Khordad or Gemini being opposed to Azar or Sagittarius. Being able to see both sides to everything, or the polarity of life is what Khordad energy stands for.

This is what the wings in Faravahar show. The human is at the centre, and excersizes free will to decide what to do, after looking at every polarity there is in his or her life. After looking at his wings of thought.

At every moment you will see a special situation which you have not been to.

"The Faravahar or Farohar is the spirit of human being that had been existed before his/her birth and will continue to exist after his/her death.

It is to remind one of the purpose of life on this Earth, which is to live in such a way that the soul progresses spiritually and attains union with Ahura-Mazda (the Wise Lord); this state is called Frasho-kereti in Avesta"

http://zoroastrian.org.uk/treader/?p=938

The union with Ahuramazda is to experience what is new. It begins with the first thought and too much curiosity. That makes you alive. It makes you alive now. The journey is to make it from confusion to curiosity. That journey is done with deduction and reason.

Keep questioning. Keep asking.

Be reasonable.

Ahuramazdan: Wealth

"Ali Agha, shoma ke monjem hasti, begoo beenam, key pool dar misham?"

(Hey Ali, you are an astrologer, tell me when I will get wealthly?)

This is the typical question you get as an Astrologer.

And I start with the following:

The ancients of Iran, the Ahuramazdans, looked at the universe, and noticed the constellation Ordibehesht (Taurus), in all its mighty.

And I get immediately interrupted:

"Een mozkhrafat chieh, begoo hala chi misheh barayeh man?"

(What's all this rubbish man, tell me what's going to happen?).

And that is where it all goes wrong. Basically, the individual does not want to understand, the premise of my explanation.

They want an answer to their future, just like a SatNav, gives them directions on where they need to go, if they were driving. They don't want to know the geography.

Astrology is a space-time map. When you connect to your position in your space-time, you know where you are relative to any aspect of life.

When it comes to wealth and material prosperity, it is Ordibehesht.  But you need to appreciate the spiritual context to connect to it.

So they get hit back by me:

"Akheh, hameen joori ke dorost nemisheh"
(Well, it does not get sorted, just like that)

Having said that, the ones who appreciate the ancient history, do get luckier than most. Somehow the Achaemenid art form gets into their spirit, and they think materialistically.

"In the Achaemenid calendar the second month is called “thūra.vāhara,” month of vigorous spring/growth. It should be added that in the third line of Yasna 48.6 of the poetic gathas, it is ashá vahishtá/artá vahishtá or the “artistic creativity/true essence of ahurmazd” that causes plants to grow vigorously."

http://authenticgathazoroastrianism.org/2010/08/02/ancient-avestan-calendar/

Many Iranians look at the period, when Iran was benefiting from Ordibehesht energy, and are awe struck by the architecture, without really knowing the nitty-gritty that is going on to the life journey.

The ancients of that Age of Taurus, knew what they were doing, when they created those designs. They knew that the new born will have to be subliminally, or intuitively linked to materialism.

This intuitive connection is easily done with Ordibehesht, as Venus its ruler is exhalted in Esfand (Pisces) or the 12th House. As I write this the Moon is approaching the 12th House of intution.

At this point, the Iranians normally outwit me, and say:

"Pas khod be khod, yek dafeh meefahmeem ke sazandegi roonzamin behesht ast"

(So we automatically know in one go that heaven is on Earth)

The whole purpose of an Ahuramazdan is to see the Good Deeds of his words and thoughts. Life has to be appreciated and productive. It is as simple as that.

But the Ahuramazdans, knew that there will be times, when Iran will be unproductive and fall by the way side. They constructed, in out of reach places art forms, that will bear the materialistic message of Ordibehesht, and help Iranians be creative in their lives.

It is no wonder, that the greatest gardens of the world, are found in Iran. It is no wonder, that Persepolis had an amazing sewage system. Iranians cared so much for the environment, that they did not even bury their dead. All four elements were sacred and they did not pollute any of the four elements (Fire, Earth, Water, Air).

To show how accurate Iranian Astrology is, you need to look at Persepolis. As Ordibehesht is about measurement, Ahuramazdans created a massive clock that would accurately predict the seasons.

Ahuramazdan: Identity

In Haftseen we Iranians create our little universe of nature, as we identify with the seven unique elements of life in our New Year. Each element is associated to an Ahuramazdan astrological universal force that always exists.

In Avestan it is called "Amesha Sepanta". In Persian we say "Hamisheh vojut dareh". We had seven Amesha Sepantas. The four elements: Fire, Earth, Air and Water, plus animals, plants and humans.

Later when all was lost, the language was destroyed, but the meanings remained as Haftseen. The words Amesha Sepanta was reduced to the letter S.

In Astrology we have the basic four elements representing basic four types of signs.

There are three Fire signs: Farvardin (Aries), Amordad (Leo), Azar (Sagittarius).

There are three Earth signs: Ordibehesht (Taurus), Shahrivar (Virgo), Day (Capricorn).

There are three Air signs: Khordad (Gemini), Mehr (Libra), Bahman (Aquarius).

There are three Water signs: Tir (Cancer), Aban (Scorpio), Esfand (Pisces).

In Iran we all celebrate Knowrooz (my spelling of Nowruz). But not one Iranian, knows the Astrological meanings, behind Farvardin. It is just the first month of the year.

"Chi migi baba? Avalin maheh saleh. Be setareha che rapt dareh, Ali agha? Bazam shoroo kardi. Ajaba!"

(WTF are you saying man? It's the first month of the year. What's it got to do with the stars, Ali? Here you go again. OMG!)

Most people in the world know what Astrology is. Most people know what an Aries is. But not one person knows, that for thousands of years, it was called Farvardin, before being called Aries.

The original Astrological meanings, were written by the "1st Magi" or Zoroaster. Zoroaster himself was an Ahuramazdan, as he spoke to Ahuramazda and was taught what "the human purpose" is.

The history of Iran, has been constantly rewritten, everytime we were invaded. The new regime, would do whatever it could do, to totally obliterate art or philosophy of the old regime.

But Iran and its Ahuramazdan principles were never lost. Their is a unique identity to Iran and Ahuramazda. The identity is based on the calendar. The time at which the first day of spring is calculated, is what makes Iranian mathematics the best.

Every Iranian identifies with the Spring Vernal Equinox. That unique moment is the most powerful moment in Astrology. Iranians celebrate it from the exact moment. And I mean the split second it happens. That is what unites our unique identity. This Spring 80 million Iranians counted down the beginning of Spring. And no one ever stood in the way.

The ability to identify ourselves, is what makes our society. Faravar Din means the spiritual root of Din. Din is not religion. It is the highest point. It is related to Day or Capricorn. It is the High Noon or Mid-Heaven. Mars the ruler of Aries is exhalted in Capricorn. So action or Aries is most powerful when it creates or acts to make its future in society.

Ahuramazda speak to Zoroaster in the Zend-Avesta's Farvardin Yasht in 1:1. Ahuramazda needs help to create heaven on earth. The human being is respected as an identity, to carry out the will of Ahuramazda, as an Ahuramazdan.

"Ahura Mazda spake unto Spitama Zarathushtra, saying: 'Do thou proclaim, O pure Zarathushtra! the vigour and strength, the glory, the help and the joy that are in the Fravashis of the faithful, the awful and overpowering Fravashis; do thou tell how they come to help me, how they bring assistance unto me, the awful Fravashis of the faithful."

Ahuramazda states that he creates the brightness of the stars for a good reason in 1:2:

"Through their brightness and glory, O Zarathushtra! I maintain that sky, there above, shining and seen afar, and encompassing this earth all around."

Iranians celebrate the first day of Spring because the days get longer. It is when nature is reborn and light over powers darkness. It is when he starts his work in the beginning of Spring.

Ahuramazdan: Wishes

We all have wishes and we wonder what it is that prevents our wishes and what it is that grants our wishes. It is deeply rooted in our own experiences, in this life and all the other experiences in other space times.

One of the greatest festivals in the Iranian culture, is when everyone prepares to jump over fire. It is called Chahar Shanbeh Soori.

Bonfires appear all over Iran. People then jump over fires and say:

"Zardiyeh man az to, sorkhi to az man"

(My yellow to you, your red to me)

Yellow signifies weakness or fear.
Red is fire.
Az means from you.

It is a time of reflection and humility. Sepandarmarzi or the month of Esfand is the month of Pisces.

In modern Astrology we have what is known as the 12th House. It is when we face our unself or unyou. It is our universal side. We forgive.

In the Zend-Avesta, we face the angels and ask for their help to face all our worries. We gather the courage to face all our past and reflect on them.

As part of "The Now", it is the one of the legs of what makes you. The other part is Farvardin or Aries. It has remained in the Zend-Avesta as Sepandarmarzi, or looking at the other side of you; which are not in the real feel, touch, see, hear, taste senses in the real world.

Being in touch with the universal part of you, brings you to the transcedental parts of you. You become in tune with whatever you see as the ultimate reconciler in your universe, whatever it may be.

In Astrology it is whatever rules the 12th House. You will see me refer to it in Iran Astrology Blog. In today Iran, 80 million people celebrate Chaharshanbehsoori in the last Wednesday eve before Knowrooz.

In the Zend-Avesta the referrences:

In Yasna 48:4

"One who makes his mind better or worse, O Mazda, his deed, word and conscience shall follow sure. The path selected by one's voluntary choice, his will and faith shall also follow the same and shall be in tune with them. According to Thy wisdom, O Mazda, their destiny shall be distinct from each other."

The key phrase is "voluntary choice". You have then in the 12th House or Esfand the ultimate Free Will to choose the path you want.

You can reconcile, in other parallel space-times, no matter you call them parrallel universes or other life times.

But reconciliation is a two way process. You need to face the fear of meeting that obstacle again and to reconcile it. It is that Karma that comes around again. Sepandarmarzi or the universal repent will be the attitude you need. And through this reconciliation comes your wishes. This reconciliation will wash your soul and set it free. You have free will.

Ahuramazdan: Humanity

As a reader of my astrology reports in Iran Astrology Blog, you would have come across my references to the Zend-Avesta every now and then. As mentioned Ahuramazdan is a blog for looking at the Astrology of the Zend-Avesta.

As bold as a statement this is to make,  the Zend-Avesta is a compilation of all what seems to be pre-religion in Iran. There are very few distinct philosophy books of Iran left, after Cteisphun Library was burnt by Salman Parsi. His inquistion of Iran with the help of Arabs is predicted in Bahman Yasht.

Have a look at:

http://www.avesta.org/mp/vohuman.html

It is heavy reading. You will struggle to get much quick meaning. Here are some important points. This article predicts the future of Ahuramazdan in the Iranian Plateau. I use this phrase because what principles you choose in that area of the world determines your interpretations of the past and so will create the choices you have. If you have an Ahuramazdan view then you will have a different view than someone who looks at the world past and future from a Biblical or Koranic or Torah view. Of course we now know that Buddha was an Ahuramazdan. Once you get the Ahuramazdan perspective you will see outside of the religious boxes that you have been forced to believe. Remember Ahuramazdan is very much older.

From an Astrological point of view Bahman is Vohuman or Human or Aquarius. The word Aquarius is used by Europeans because it symbolized the common water or spirit that all humans have. The water bearer has the ability to reach out and understand the common connection and the common human expression. And today the Moon is in Bahman in the 8th House as I write. In fact this morning I came across a wonderful link about the first civilization in the Middle East.

See this long clip:

https://youtu.be/eHG9URGDt6s

For me it is a journey as well. I almost stumble across these questions and answers and no matter how lazy I am (and I am a real slouch) I get the zest to share it. I have no desire for fame or money. I just cannot bear the fact that no one else writes about this.

So here we are in Moon in Bahman in the 8th and I come across a clip about ancients that were far more advanced and lived 7000 years before Stonehenge. The only piece of text that connects to this is the Vendidad when we hear about preparation of humans against an ice-age.

We read in Bahman Yasht about the various Ages or Precession of Equinox and periods designated by various metals. Each begins with an Iranian Emperor. The coming of Salman and the mess we are in is also mentioned. The demolition of all the ancient buildings are mentioned.

Ahuramazda clearly tells Zoroaster the confusion Ahuramazdan will bear because what Salman does.

Bahman Yasht is just a simple Astrological interpretation of the world. Later it was copied by the religions with referrences made to their religious leaders as opposed to Iranian Emperors. It seemed then that the Jewish, Christian and Islamic historians just copied this system and put their own names instead. Plagiarism has no limit it seems.

But as Astrologers we persevere. We know that Moon in Bahman connects us all across space and time, especially if it is used at the right time. Meanings are nothing on their own. There is a correct time for everything. Bahman or Aquarius is the highest order of communication. It is the bond that unites all human along common humanitarian thought.

We know that the ruler of Aquarius or Bahman is Uranus. Uranus is exhalted in the 8th House or Aban or Scorpio. So it is very significant that Bahman Yasht is the document that relates to the deep spirit that lies in Aban or Seemorgh. It regenerates new thoughts within corporations or teams. In modern speak we see how new ideas become new companies that have brought diverse people who all have a common mandate. We have seen how democracy has become the tool for the expression of that common mandate. Bahman is the political expression of free speech. Ask any Aquarian what he or she thinks of an open mind and you will know what Vohuman, Human, or Bahman means.

We see in Bahman Yasht, that as the most powerful set of humans on the planet, Ahuramazdan will be totally destroyed. All our buildings and works of art will be wiped out. We will be totally humiliated as we come to the end of the Age of Pisces. New corporate entities, new political realities and unities will bind humans. We have seen Communism come and go. We have seen other political or corporste bonds create economic giants such as Apple that more powerful than many nations. They have established a fashion and a way of life never so disruptive in human culture. Twitter and Facebook are such social networks that the Age of Aquarius or Bahman is about. This openness of mind is what enables me to write to you.

Ahuramazdan: Choice and Polarity

You choose your Life.
Your Life chooses you.

Choices of questions.
Choices of answers.

Furious thoughts, divergent principles. Feel stretched between extremes.

Do nothing, or react.

Look at the ideal, find it unreal.
Look at the unreal, and find it ideal.

As far back as 20,000 years ago, when Ahuramazdans appeared in the Iranian Plateau, these thoughts appeared. They were only shared orally to keep the essence pure.

Later it was written in The Zend-Avesta:

"Now the two primal spirits, who reveal themselves in vision as twins, are the better and the bad, in thought and word and action. Between these two the wise ones chose aright; the foolish not so." Yasna 30:3

And I therefore exist to choose.

I have Free Will.

I see, hear, feel and touch the two primal spirits.

But I make different choices at different times. The energy that flows in our choices is different. The planets and the Moon have new positions and my choices have changed.

There is a cosmological me.
I am more than my senses.

I exist more than my Earth Being.
I look up. I am a Universal Being.
